Lexington, KY, October 15, 2019 – Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass (BBBS Bluegrass) has moved to a new office location and will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, Oct. 25, at 1:30 p.m. The event will be held at 181 W. Lowry Lane, Suite 150, in Lexington. Remarks will be made by Mayor Linda Gorton and other special guests.
“The move into this new space with billboard-style signage will hopefully help us as we continue our efforts to recruit more volunteers to our agency,” Andrea Ooten, President and CEO of BBBS Bluegrass, said. “Our office might have changed but our need for more volunteer mentors has not. Hopefully, this will help serve as a reminder and keep us in the forefront when individuals are making decisions about where they want to invest their support.”
BBBS Bluegrass’ mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. They aim to defend the potential of children in Central Kentucky by creating lasting relationships with mentors who provide support and encouragement to help them achieve their dreams.
